Day 15 - July 19 -New York

Seinfeld diner
Our last day in New York. We had breakfast at Toms diner. Toms diner was made famous by the Seinfeld series.  Toms was a few metro stops up from our hotel on the Upper West Side.

Raising New York's cholesterol since 1929
I was keen to have some classic New York fare so  we found a cafe with an extensive menu.

Lunch at Eisenbergs on Fifth Avenue hit the spot. I had a Rueben sandwich and an egg cream.

Egg cream is a drink consisting of soda, flavouring and whipped  egg white.  I would call it a cousin of the spider.
We also visited the Strand bookshop on Broadway which had second hand books starting at 67 cents and had another peek at the Flat Iron Building.
